INTERNS HELP BRAD PAISLEY DO GOOD DEEDS FOR THE ELDERLY

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Residents of a Nashville retirement community got their groceries delivered because Brad Paisley’s producer had interns with nothing to do. Paisley runs a free grocery store in Nashville for low-income families, but he realized during the coronavirus pandemic that elderly people were having a hard time with food shopping, too. His producer, Luke Wooten, mentioned that his studio interns had no sessions to work on, and they wanted to help. Paisley says they left flyers at a retirement tower, offering to bring groceries. He says when the interns made the deliveries, the residents came out and gave them a standing ovation.
