PYEONGCHANG, South Korea (AP) _ Austria's Daniela Ulbing was just minding her business, sliding her way down the slopes in hopes of winning a snowboarding gold medal.

Suddenly, a squirrel scampered onto the course and right into Ulbing's path during the women's parallel giant slalom.

Whoa, squirrel.

That was a close one!

It darted in front of Ulbing, narrowly missing her snowboard, and then ran back from where it came by passing right behind the Austrian.

Ulbing, by the way, seemed unfazed by the rascally rodent _ but she didn't finish with a medal.

But she's got a pretty squirrelly Olympic tale to tell.
