PYEONGCHANG, South Korea - A small translation mistake led to a whole bunch of eggs that were delivered to the Norwegian Olympic team's chefs.

Norway's communications manager Niels Roine said the team's chefs believed they had ordered 1,500 eggs from a Korean delivery service in preparation for the Pyeongchang Olympics, but instead were greeted with a huge shipment of 15,000 eggs. The chefs were surprised when a truck arrived half-filled with eggs and the crates never seemed to stop, according to the Aftenposten newspaper.

Roine said the chefs were able to return most of the eggs. Olympic chefs come to the games prepared, but many foods must be ordered locally in order to complete the large task of keeping dozens of athletes well fed for the games, which last more than two weeks.
