Trump supporter Terry Frandle checks his mailbox in his front yard decorated for Halloween and a Trump reelection campaign in Saint Clair Shores, Mich., Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020. In Macomb County, Frandle hung Trump banners outside his house and noticed that neighbors who used to stop to chat crossed to the other side of the street, not even offering a "hello." Some drivers wave, some flip the bird. He doesn't blame Trump for the discord, he blames Democrats and the media for failing to give Trump a fair shake, he said. He plans to vote in person on Election Day. "I just don't trust anything anymore," he said, except for what he hears directly from Trump. (AP Photo/David Goldman)

The Big Ten won't play football this fall because of concerns about COVID-19, becoming the first of college sports' power conferences to yield to the pandemic. The move announced Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, comes six day after the conference that includes historic programs such as Ohio State, Michigan, Nebraska and Penn State had released a revised conference-only schedule that it hoped would help it navigate a fall season with potential COVID-19 disruptions. Dozens of buses surrounded the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus, Ohio, on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, in a rolling rally which was one of many taking place at state capitols around the United States as part of "Motorcoaches Rolling for Awareness." The buses eventually took all three lanes of South Third Street between Broad and State, halting southbound traffic as bus drivers sounded their vehicles horns for approximately thirty minutes. The industry which has laid off or furloughed more than 90 percent of its workforce nationally in the wake of COVID-19 is asking for federal assistance. Cardinal Transportation, a leading transportation provider in Columbus, participated in the rally. (Barbara J. Perenic/The Columbus Dispatch via AP)
