The silver streak is over for Jamie Anderson.
Now, it's time to see if she can keep raking in the gold.
Anderson snapped a string of four straight silver medals by winning the Winter X Games on Friday, giving herself all the momentum heading into the Pyeongchang Olympics, where she'll be favored to defend her title.
Anderson took a nasty spill on her first run, but came back to lay down the winner on her second trip down the course.
''Perseverance,'' she called it. ``It's hard out here sometimes.''
Anderson said it's been a long road back since the victory in Sochi, one in which she often felt like she was her own biggest competition.
