“LIVE PD” CANCELED
LOS ANGELES (AP) — For the second time in two days, a police-themed show has bitten the dust. A&E Network has canceled “Live PD.” The move comes a day after Paramount Network shelved the long-running police series “COPS.” The demise of the shows, which featured cameras doing ride-along duty with law enforcement officers in different cities, is part of a backlash against police and their supporters since the death of George Floyd. The Minneapolis man died last month after a police officer pressed his knee on his neck for nearly nine minutes, even as he begged for mercy.

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Talk show host and “The Voice” coach Kelly Clarkson is getting divorced. The singer has filed papers to dissolve her marriage to Brandon Blackstock. The court docs cite irreconcilable differences as the reason for the legal split — and Clarkson is asking that she not have to pay spousal support. The two had been together for nearly seven years. Clarkson is 38; Blackstock is 43. They have two children, a 5-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy.

So far, the fund has about $440,000, with more donations expected.
SEAWORLD, BUSCH GARDENS REOPEN
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Two more Florida theme parks are back in business, after a hiatus because of the coronavirus outbreak. When they opened their gates yesterday for the first time since March, SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens had new restrictions to protect against the spread of COVID-19. Visitors must make reservations to promote social distancing. And both parks will close two days each week for extra cleaning.
